Dear Tesla Owners,
Different as last year you can ride your Tesla in the APS Electric light Parade under Tesla Owners US flag.
Here are the picture of the parade 2014 teslaowners.us/former-events/electric-light-parade-2014/index.html
What does it take if you want to participate?
1. Scan or make a foto of you registration and insurance and reply this to this e-mail address today or latest to the end of the week.
2. Be at the Drivers meeting (6:00pm) December 2, 2016
This is a MANDATORY meeting conducted by the Phoenix Police Department for all float or towing unit drivers to cover specific regulations. The meeting is held at North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 N. Central Avenue (held in the chapel).
At this meeting I will hand out the parking and parade passes that you need to enter the parade the next day.
3. Have a fire extinguisher (2A10BC-type) in your vehicle. (Funny is that Tesla are not inflammable anymore. Sorry but you need it anyway)
4. Install your free LEDs at “Inspired LED” 1702 W 10th Pl, Tempe, AZ 85281. 7 AM December 3, 2016
The owners Jim Levante will donate strips of LED in all different colors. Jim and I will help to install the lights to your vehicle.
Jim will do the organization and electronic work and I will help to tape the lights to your Tesla with clear tape.
Big thanks to Pete Gruber from Gruber industries has donated 6 12V batteries that we will use as well.
This will take up to 4 hours and you will not be able to drive your Tesla fast until after the parade due to the taped LEDs at your EV.
Alternatively you can also take care of many lights at your Tesla for yourself. You can buy 120V Christmas lights and use an 12V to 120V converter from your cigarette lighter. Please also buy a backup converter and fuses. The amount of lights to connect is limited to about 120W consumption per h otherwise you fuse will trip.
5. Be up at the parade gathering for final installation and activation of light at 5 PM December 3, 2016 at the parking lot North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 N. Central Avenue. The parade will begin at 7 PM and last maximum one hour.

If you build a new house or need a new roof then there is no excuse anymore to go full solar. In our video you see more behind the scenes as in the official one. Next time take solar tiles. There is for everyone's taste something available. The cost are lower than a roof and a Photovoltaik system together. And they look much prettier.
